Explore Montclair's unassuming Walnut Street and Bloomfield Avenue neighborhoods on this immersive food tour showcasing a hyper-local culinary renaissance.
Walnut Street is an easy loop, the shortest route of all our tours. You’ll sample dishes from four memorable eateries, including a next-generation Jersey pizzeria, a donut doyen, and a craft brewery with rotating guest chefs. Bloomfield Avenue is a leisurely walk up from the base of the hill to Church Street, stopping for Brazilian comfort food, humongous cookies, and more while meeting the restaurateurs that make this one of the most exciting restaurant scenes in the state.
"Montclair In Motion" is a social, flavorful experience rooted in the community’s unique industrial history and more recent cultural growth, including culinary traditions from Argentina, the Philippines, Sicily, West Africa, and Brazil.
On August 22, we will co-lead this tour together with our friends at the Montclair History Center, whose expert insights will make this a tour to remember for both locals and visitors to the area.
